Tell us a little about yourself as a gamer in the comments, you know, if you feel like it. It's not mandatory. :)

I'll start.

I'm addicted to what my mother calls "dumb clicky games"; games like computer solitaire (and back in the dark ages before computers, solitaire with actual cards!), Bejewled and computer Mahjong. I'm pretty active on City of Heroes/Villains (Liberty Redside Represent...*crickets*) and am currently going through a serious Sims 2 phase. In the past I've been into Civ 3, Sims 1, Guild Wars and Neverwinter Nights.

As a mod, I'm pretty relaxed. Just acquaint yourselves with the don'ts that are listed over in the user info and we'll be cool!

I play all kinds of things, but the two main categories are console RPGs (usually Japanese-style) and tabletop RPGs (generally by White Wolf Publishing.)

Favourites on the console spectrum: Final Fantasy VI, IV, IX, XII, and Tactics; Lost Odyssey; Digital Devil Saga; Persona 3 and 4.

Favourites on the tabletop spectrum: Exalted, Demon: the Fallen, Mage: the Ascension, Changeling: the Lost.

I never got much into PC RPGs, but I had a grand time with Neverwinter Nights. :)

I also do a lot of fic-writing for various games. But that's because they leave such interesting backstory holes to poke. *pokes them*

Hey there.

I've been mainly into X-Box console gaming as of late, but that's after coming from being a CoH/CoV player for a while(not that there's anything wrong with that; I just didn't have as much time). I've currently been playing UFC Undisputed and Street Fighter IV, but I've been trying to find some decent gunfighters for Left 4 Dead. I've also downloaded a copy of Puzzle Quest Galactrix that's been fun, as well as the mandatory copy of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. I've been interested in Second Life for testing my Djing skills, and there's an MMO called "Otherland" that's coming out that I'm interested in. I sort of miss "Gungame", as well, but I may go back...

HI! For the clicky clicky games I play Pogo more often than not, only because coke rewards gave me a whole free year. WHOOO!

I really love hanging out at SecondLife and I've become addicted to Free Realms which is going live tomorrow.

When I get the chance I really love playing the PS3 game Resistance. OMG love.

Free Realms is kinda cute, don't you think?:) I played it for a couple of hours and had fun. I just really have to get used to the slow pace of loading and all. :)

Like lassarina (still getting the hang of DW; not sure how to type the code for usernames just yet; is it the same as LJ, or do we use dw-cut and dw user and such?), I'm a player of many things, but I love, love, Japanese-style RPGs.

I'm playing Persona 2: Eternal Punishment at the moment, but I'm a big fan of the Star Ocean series, and I've loved many Final Fantasies, namely X, X-2, and VIII. Haven't quite finished playing IX, though, and the closest I'll ever get to VII is watching "Advent Children" on DVD.

Can you tell I love my Playstation? I bought a Playstation Portable for the single reason that Star Ocean: First Departure and the remake of Star Ocean: The Second Story (Star Ocean: Second Evolution) was being re-released on it.

I also enjoy strategy/city-building games like Pharaoh/Cleopatra, The Sims (can't wait for Sims 3 for the Mac!), and random adventure or RPG games for the PC (yay for virtual machines!) like Day of the Tentacle, Yukon Trail, and so on.

My mom kicks my butt at Bejeweled, and I have this neat Hoyle's set of games where I'm best at a sort of Word Jumble game, but the Bewjeweled-like rune game, Avalon (I think) has got me stuck at a particular level.

I play all kinds of games and I love all kinds, but it's usually only the Japanese RPGs that get me wanting to write fic, make icons, and "shrine" them by writing walkthroughs and such.

I'll warn you now...

To be fair, I had the early PSP models(2 of the "fat" PSP's), and while I love the potential of the hardware, the D-Pad still has me grudging Sony a bit. There's a mod for it online, but I'll probably just go DS in a few.

For the mac or pc I am in love with Diablo II, Sims 2, Spore, Heroes of Might and Magic (any!), Age of Empires (any!), Cleopatra/Pharaoh, Civilization, Oregon Trail, and more that I cannot currently think of.

Also, I freaking love RPGS. I love all of the Final Fantasies that I have played (VII and up, though I aim to play the earlier ones as well), Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Star Ocean, and the Legend of Dragoon.

I enjoy and adore a whole lot of games. I am easily absorbed by them. However, I agree azurite on the fact that only the japanese rpgs inspire me in any significant way! :)

I love point-and-click games, especially the Submachine series (and pretty much anything else by Pastel Games).

I'm don't usually spend money on games, so it's usually the free online ones I play. I currently have three characters in the Kingdom of Loathing.

Uhm, that's about it. (Except for the dodgy Japanese yaoi games.)

I love playing all sorts of games - board, console and computer. Right now I'm in love with Guild Wars and the Sims franchise, and I recently got a DS and have fallen in love with it. I'm trying to be good and not get a Wii, but it's very tempting!

In the past I've played SimCity, Civilizations, Age of Empires, Castles: Siege and Conquest, and Pool of Radiance - my first real gaming obsession. ;)

I also play Mahjong, Cubis, Jewel Quest, and Jardinains. I've gotten family members/friends quite addicted to one or all of them!

I'm addicted to pretty, easy MMOs :). I started off with Guild Wars, and more recently moved on to the likes of Warhammer Online, Lord of the Rings Online, and City of Heroes/Villains. I am currently splitting my time between that, Wizard 101, and Aion.

Now that the days are becoming more sunny and bright with summer around the corner I notice that my time spend behind the pc is going backwards which leaves me with less time to play games then during wintertime but that's okay by me really. When I do play games on the pc they are mainly MMOs.

My first MMO ever was EverQuest which I played from late 1999 to halfway 2004. I played World of Warcraft from the closed beta on to early 2008, when I decided to go take a look at EverQuest II which I been playing since - though the past 2 months I haven't really spend long hours on there either. I had some small detours to Dark Ages of Camelot, Lineage2, Vanguard and Age of Conan but stuck with my main games EQ/WoW/EQII. Sony recently released Free Realms which I took a quick look at as well and I must say tis a very cute game!

I also have a NDS but it is currently collecting dust.. I am pining for a Wii but no clue whether we'll get one any time soon. We also have an Xbox360 and a PS3 but the first ain't even connected and the second we mostly use to play our blue ray disks at the moment. I never really been a console game kinda gal and my guy is too busy with his MMOs as well to play any. :)

So much with the late!

I've been actively playing World of Warcraft for almost five years now (O_O). I play on Feathermoon, Alliance-side, and my main is a shaman who's currently raiding Ulduar25. (My raid, TRI, just took down General Vezax in our first week looking at him; next week, Yogg-Saron!)

I've also started playing The Sims 3 and will be posting about that in a minute here. ^_^
